Details of the day
Morning Session (90 mins) 10 am – 11.30am
In Search Of The Real King Arthur 1 – A Chronology – Arthur’s Life Story:
Based on the best selling books ‘The Keys To Avalon’ and ‘Pendragon – The Search For The Real Arthur’, evidence is put forward to establish Arthur & his men in North Wales, Wirral, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Shropshire, Lancashire & Staffordshire. This PowerPoint
takes the whole history of Merlin, Joseph Of Arimathea, & Arthur & expands it into a time-line forming a complete chronicle of the development of the Arthurian material. It then
goes further to look at the development of the legend we have with us today.
Break – 11.30am – 11.45am
Mid Morning Session (70 mins): 11.45pm – 12.55pm
In Search Of The Real King Arthur 2 – The Extra Mile – SitesTo
Visit:‘The Extra Mile’ reveals actual map locations for battles, burial sites, main characters, Camelot, Avalon, & much more. By the end we are left with a ‘tourist map’ of archaeological and historic sites to visit which could form the basis of future ‘Arthur Quests’ through the real lands of Merlin, Joseph, & Arthur. Artifacts of significance, physical constructions, features viewed by satellite, & real archaeological discoveries, all form a part of this rich tapestry. Make notes and bring a road atlas – it’s going to be quite a journey.
Break For Lunch. 1pm– 2pm
Afternoon Session (90 mins): 2pm – 3.30pm
In Search Of The Real King Arthur 3 – The Book – Written Records:
The first material to appear from the anticipated but as yet unreleased book ‘The Polychronicon Of Merlin, Joseph, & Arthur’ looks at the important specific details of surviving literary sources & their implications. This digs deep into the written material we actually have surviving from ages past & paints a very different picture of the warrior Arthur & his war-band of knights, the real candidates for the Holy Grail, & the real people behind the legend.
