Hopi Ear Candling
The treatment starts with stimulation of pressure points on the
face, which helps to relax the facial muscles, increase circulation and
drain the sinuses. You will then lie on one side, the candle is lit and
placed in the auditory canal.
You will experience a pleasant crackling sound and a warm
comfortable feeling as the candle burns. The candle is then taken
away and extinguished and then turn over to treat the other ear.

The whole experience is very relaxing and you may fall asleep
during treatment. Once both ears have been treated, the treatment
is completed with a mini facial massage and scalp massage. This is
a lovely way to end the ear candle treatment and will further relax
you in order to maximise the effects of the ear candling.
The treatment lasts about an hour. Ear candles have a physical function. A light suction action (chimney effect) and the movement of
the flame create a vibration of air in the ear candle generating a massage-like effect on the eardrum.
This induces a pleasant feeling of warmth and a balance of pressure in the ears, forehead and
sinuses. The treatment increases blood flow and stimulates lymphatic drainage, restoring balance
and enabling your body to correct any problems. Physically the heat from the flame creates a
stimulating, warming effect and creates a spiral energy vortex. It also increases the mobility of the
white blood cells and improves the immune response. The treatment engenders a relaxed state in
which the body is better able to fight imbalances.
